We like peppers at our house, we like it hot! We are adding ten peppers to our New Years tradition – black-eyed peas cooked in the slow cooker. Pick your favorite peppers, add garlic, cumin, chili powder, an onion or two, black pepper and Bragg’s Aminos with water and dried black-eyed peas – scale to your needs. We like to make a big batch so we have leftovers!

What peppers besides yellow, red and green peppers, jalepeno peppers do you have in this recipe . It looks really good.
any peppers you like Kathy – we bought one of each variety they had at Whole Foods. Not so much a recipe as an idea – 10 peppers and black-eyed peas. ours has a habanero, anaheim, serrano, poblano among the two colors of jalapeno and sweet peppers. So use what you have – or buy according to taste. we love HOT!!
